Ratingen, Germany, November 15, 2022 — ASUS Republic of Gamers (ROG) today announced a new series of ROG Ryuo III AIO coolers, with four models to choose from: the ROG Ryuo III 360 ARGB and the ROG Ryuo III 240 ARGB, both available in black or white editions.
As the first ROG AIO coolers equipped with an 8th generation Asetek pump, the ROG Ryuo III 360 ARGB and ROG Ryuo III 240 ARGB offer exceptional cooling potential, making them ideal partners for the latest high-end chips from Intel and AMD. This pump sports a 3-phase motor capable of higher flow rates than previous generations, all while operating more quietly. The square cold plate is larger than the previous generation, and its size makes it ideal for this year’s hot-off-the-press CPUs. The coolant is directed from the pump to a large-volume radiator. Per 100W of load, our new 360mm radiator delivers temperatures that are 2° Celsius lower than the last generation. The ROG AF 12S ARGB fans provide an ideal balance of static pressure, high airflow, and low noise as they move air through the radiator. And they add style to any build with ARGB lighting that can be coordinated with the rest of the PC via Aura Sync.
Customizable eye catcher
Users will find the dazzling AniMe Matrix™ display on select ROG laptops, peripherals and motherboards — and now, they can bring it to the beating heart of their PCs with the ROG Ryuo III 360 ARGB and ROG Ryuo III 240 ARGB. This arrangement of mini LEDs directly on the pump housing allows users to set up an eye-catcher in their case. ROG-exclusive content is programmable as well as individual animations that follow personal preferences. With the help of the pixel editor, users can also create their own images and texts and present them in unforgettable style. It is also possible to display the most important system statistics on the pump housing. Thus, CPU temperature, frequency or fan speed can be read comfortably. As usual, Aura Sync synchronizes all lighting effects on demand and ensures a consistent style of the build.
The diamond-cut bezel along the top edge of the housing focuses attention on the display. To maintain the aesthetic of the device under all circumstances, ASUS installs a vacuum-coated lens above the display. This special glass will not let users see through the mini-LED array to the hardware underneath when their PC is powered off or when they have chosen not to use any lighting effects.
The freedom of compatibility
The ROG Ryuo III series features 400mm long tubing, providing flexibility for different conceptual designs as well as cable routing. Users have just as much flexibility when putting together their system, as both versions are equally available in black and white to match the exact aesthetics of the build.
